Head of the Central Java High Prosecutor's Office, I Made Suanarwan, said that throughout 2022 there were three prosecutors who were sentenced for violating discipline. "A total of four employees have been disciplined, three of them are prosecutors," said Suanarwan in Semarang, Antara, Wednesday, December 21. The three prosecutors each committed disciplinary violations, abused their authority, and committed disgraceful acts. One administrative employee was also sentenced to a violation of a disgraceful act, he explained. The prosecutor's employees who violated the discipline, he continued, were sentenced in the mild to moderate category. Throughout 2022, he said, there were 79 general criminal cases that were resolved through restorative justice. Meanwhile, of the 4,789 general criminal cases carried out by the prosecution, he continued, 4,771 of them have been resolved. As for special crimes, according to him, the return of state losses originating from payment of replacement money, fines, and confiscated goods was recorded at Rp. 16.8 billion. He added that of the 129 prosecutions for corruption and money laundering cases, 77 of them had been resolved.
