Here Are The 10 Most Rich People In The United States: Jeff Bezos Is Still Straddling Bill Gates

JAKARTA - Forbes recently released a list of the richest people in the United States in 2020. In the top 10 rankings, there are 7 names of digital businessmen on the list.

Jeff Bezos is again at the top of the list compiled by Forbes. The Amazon owner is still at the top of straddling the names of other well-known digital entrepreneurs such as Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg.

For information, in the list of the 400 richest people in the US this year, Forbes noted that total wealth reached 3.2 trillion US dollars, or an increase of 240 billion US dollars from last year. This increase was helped by the stock market, which is still showing a bullish trend amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jeff Bezos, who is the founder and CEO of Amazon, recorded a fortune of 179 billion US dollars. The 56-year-old man managed to become the richest person in America for three consecutive years.

Under Bezos, there are other digital business players, namely Microsoft owner Bill Gates with a fortune of 111 billion US dollars. Followed, Mark Zuckerberg, where the founder of Facebook has a wealth of 85 billion US dollars.

Warren Buffett's senior businessman, is also still able to be in the top 10, even though he is 90 years old. In this top 10 list, Buffett is the oldest, while the youngest is Zuckerberg (36 years).

Another name that is included in the list of the top 10 richest US people, almost all of them get their wealth from the digital world. They are Oracle boss Larry Ellison, former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, Elon Musk with SpaceX and Tesla, to two Google founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
