The Body Of An Unidentified Male Found Mining In The Tangerang Angke River

TANGERANG - Residents of Karang Tengah, Tangerang were shocked by the discovery of a corpse in Kali Angke, Pondok Bahar, Tangerang City. The male body was floating and found by local residents, Monday afternoon, December 19, at around 17.00 WIB.

The victim was first discovered by children from local villages who were playing around a red bridge, Karang Tengah.

Contacted separately, the Head of the Ciledug Police, Kompol Noor Megantara confirmed the discovery of the body. The victim was only able to be evacuated at night, because the body was carried away by the swift current in the Angke River.

"That's right, an unidentified body was swept away from the Pinang area. Last night it was just evacuated. It continues," Noor said when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, December 20.

Noor admitted that he did not know more clearly about the condition of the victim and the intensity of the body. Because the victim was immediately evacuated to the Tangerang District Hospital, for further action.

"We don't know yet, we are still being identified, we have brought the Tangerang Regency Hospital," he concluded.
