Two Experts Were Unwitnessed At The Ferdy Sambo Court, Prosecutors Present Digital Forensic That Will Unload CCTV Footage In Saguling

JAKARTA - Criminal law expert and Apsipfor were canceled at the trial of the alleged premeditated murder case with the defendant Ferdy Sambo Cs. Thus, the public prosecutor (JPU) presented a digital forensic expert Heri Prayitno who was about to open CCTV at Saguling's house.

The two experts who were canceled at today's trial were criminal law expert from Trisakti University Effendy Saragih and psychologist and chairman of the Indonesian Forensic Psychology Association (Apsifor) Reni Kusumowardhani.

"These two experts cannot attend today, Your Majesty, on the grounds that both of them are still out of town, one is in Cilacap, and one is on their way to Medan," said the prosecutor at the trial at the South Jakarta District Court Tuesday, December 20.

That way, criminal law experts and Apsifor will be presented at the next trial on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Especially for Effendy, he will be presented virtually.

"Ahli Effendi Saragih tomorrow can provide information as an expert but ask permission to be allowed through Zoom from Medan," said the prosecutor.

Chief Justice Wahyu Iman Santoso agreed with the prosecutor's request. However, with expert records, they must attend trial at the local court building or prosecutor's office in accordance with the provisions contained in the Supreme Court Regulation (Perma).

"Those who asked for trial through Zoom with a note following Perma's rules on that. He can be present at the court office in Medan or at the High Prosecutor's Office. So, he cannot be present in public places as desired," said Judge Wahyu.

For information, Ferdy Sambo Putri Candrawathi, Strong Ma'ruf, Bripka Ricky Rizal, and Bharada Richard totaling are defendants in the murder case of Brigadier J.

They were jointly involved in the murder of Brigadier J at the Police Complex, Duren Tiga.

Ferdy Sambo is referred to as planning the murder at Saguling's house. Then, Putri Candrawathi, Bripka Ricky Rizal, and Strong Ma'ruf supported and helped the former Propam Kadiv.

Meanwhile, for Bharada Richard totaling as the shooter Brigadier J. The shooting was said to have been ordered by Ferdy Sambo.

Thus, they were charged with violating Article 340 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.
