Members Of The NasDem Faction Of The DKI DPRD It Is Suspected That Their Constituent Reduction Of PJLP Recruitment Reported To Honorary Board

Member of the NasDem Faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Muhammad Idris was reported to the Honorary Board (BK) of the DKI Jakarta DPRD by the Thousand Islands Legal Aid Institute (LBH). Idris was reported on Monday, December 19 for allegedly violating the code of ethics as a member of the council.

Chairman of the Thousand Islands LBH Management Board, Iman Cahyadi, revealed that Idris was suspected of cheating by intervening in the recruitment process for other individual service providers (PJLP) of the Regional Port Organizing Unit (UPPD) for Transportation Kali Adem.

In his recruitment, there were 350 people who registered as PJLP candidates for UPPD Kali Adem on the 2023 work contract. Allegedly, Idris tried to pass the 50 constituents of the NasDem Party who he entrusted to pass the recruitment.

"Many friends say that Muhamad Idris' brother came to Kali Adem port to pressure UPPD Port parties to accommodate his entrusted deposits that he brought to be passed," Iman told reporters.

In fact, the alleged intervention carried out by Idris is not the only time this time. Iman admitted that since 2019, Idris is suspected of having started intervening in the recruitment of PJLPs who work under the DKI Transportation Agency, the DKI Environmental Service, to the DKI Water Resources Service.

"So this is not just once. It's only been reported now because I see this is outrageous. The form of arrogance of DPRD members intervenes in the recruitment of PJLP," said Iman.

Now, reports of alleged violations of the Idris code of ethics have been received by the DKI DPD BK along with evidence of photos of Idris visiting the Kali Adem Port UPPD.

The DKI DPRD BK will process the report for three days. After that, there will be a meeting to discuss whether or not there was an ethical violation committed by Idris related to the alleged intervention in the PJLP recruitment.

Iman hopes that after this report is submitted and processed by the DKI DPRD BK, there will be no more fraudulent behavior in the PJLP recruitment process carried out by members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

"If we don't report it from now on, it will continue (intervention of PJLP recruitment). The opportunity for islanders who don't have recommendations, how long? Because PJLP is limited, right. If one or two were asked by DPRD members, then the opportunity for others runs out, nothing," he concluded.
