Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said President Putin congratulated his colleague Fernandez by telephone.

"Vladimir Putin has just spoken by telephone with Argentine President (Alberto) Fernandez and warmly congratulated him for Argentina's victory at the FIFA World Cup," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
