The Spread Of COVID-19 In Bangka Regency Back Rata After Previously 4 Districts Stated Free Cases Of Transmission

SUNGAILAT - The COVID-19 case in the Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands, is still a concern for the local Task Force. Currently, there are 17 cases recorded in the area.

The Bangka Regency COVID-19 Task Force stated that the corona virus cases were evenly distributed in all sub-districts in the area.

"Coronal virus cases were found evenly distributed throughout or in eight sub-districts with a total of 17 cases," said Bangka Regency COVID-19 Task Force Spokesperson Boy Yandra in Sungailiat, Saturday.

He revealed that one case of COVID-19 was found in each of Bakam, Merawang, Pemali, Puding Besar and Riau Silip sub-districts. Then in Sungailiat sub-district, there were six cases, West Mendo four cases and in Belinyu sub-district there were two cases.

Whereas previously, said Boy Yandra, there were four sub-districts where zero COVID-19 cases had been determined, namely in Belinyu, Bakam, Riau Silip and Puding Besar Districts.

"There are still cases of COVID-19 in all sub-districts," said Boy Yandra, proving that the threat of the corona virus in the community has the potential to occur which requires the public to be vigilant and remain disciplined in implementing health protocols.

"The public must not be careless with the threat of COVID-19 considering that coronavirus cases still have the potential to occur in the community," he said.

In addition to being disciplined in implementing health procedures, Boy Yandra appealed to people in all age groups who are required to vaccinate to follow the vaccination recommendations at the nearest vaccine service outlet.

"Dozens of vaccine outlets are open every working day to make it easier for people to get vaccine services at all stages of the vaccine dose needed," he said.

Based on data on the development of COVID-19 cases in Bangka Regency for more than two years, the total cases reached 12,295 cases, 11,865 COVID-19 patients were declared cured and 413 COVID-19 patients died.

Of the tens of thousands of cases of COVID-19, the most in Sungailiat District reached 5,064 cases and the lowest was known in Bakam District only 203 cases.
