JAKARTA - The stabbing incident that occurred on Jalan Jatibaru Inspeksi Flood Canal Barat (BKB), Kali Bongkaran, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, took place tragically. "The incident was quite spontaneous but was witnessed by the victim's wife. The victim's wife witnessed the incident," Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tanah Abang Metro Police, AKP Fiernando Ardiansyah when confirmed by VOI, Friday, December 16.

Currently, the police are still investigating two eyewitnesses regarding the stabbing incident. The witness examination was carried out by the Tanah Abang Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"Temporary witness was the victim's wife and online motorcycle taxi driver who reported the incident," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a man was found dead by being stabbed by a sharp weapon at the demolition river, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, Friday, December 16.

The victim, whose identity has not been identified, has been taken to the hospital for autopsy.

The Tanah Abang Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit, which received a report, immediately checked the hospital to identify the identity of the victim.

The head of the Tanah Abang Metro Police, Kompol Pandji Ramadhan, confirmed the stabbing incident.

"Yes, it is being investigated. It is still very new (events), we are still digging first. Members are still in the hospital," said Kompol Pandji when confirmed by VOI, Friday, December 16.
