Search SAR 22.3 KM From Lost Location, Search 1 Of The 2 Brothers Embedded In The Lasolo River Of Southeast Sulawesi Followed

The missing SULTRA - Search for men (21) drowned with his younger brother Erik (17) in the Lasolo River, Laronanga Village, Andowia District, North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, still has not yielded any results.

Head of Basarnas Kendari Aris Sofingi said the joint SAR team continued to search for victims on the seventh day of SAR operations.

He conveyed that today the search for victims who are residents of Buke Village, Buke District, South Konawe Regency was carried out by dividing into three teams.

In Team 1 using a rubber boat, a search of the Lasolo River from the last location of the victim was reported missing to Muara Molawe as far as 21 kilometers.

Then Team 2 using a rubber boat (rubber boat) combed the flow of the Lasolo tributary from the last location the victim was reported missing to Muara Molawe as far as 21.6 kilometers.

"Furthermore, Team 3 using two longboat units searched the river flow from the last location the victim was reported missing to Muara Toroguso as far as 22.3 kilometers," he said.

Two siblings named Erik and his brother Empat were reported missing drowned in the Lasolo River, North Konawe Regency, on Thursday, December 8.

Basarnas, who received the information, then dispatched a rescue team with other joint SAR teams and then carried out a search operation.

A day later, or on December 9, 2022, Erik was found by the joint SAR team but was dead.

Earlier, on Thursday, December 8, at around 16.30 WITA, the victim on behalf of Erik ran and jumped into the Lasolo River.

Then, after a few minutes, the victim's older brother named Amana also jumped with the aim of helping his younger brother who had been swept away by the river, but his brother was also dragged along by the current of the river.
