A Number Of Transjakarta Routes Diverted, Resulted In 1812 Demo

JAKARTA - Operations Director of PT Transportation Jakarta (Transjakarta), Prasetia Budi, said that his party diverted a number of Transjakarta bus routes as a result of the 1812 action in the National Monument area.

"Regarding the demonstration around the Presidential Palace and its surroundings, it has affected several Transjakarta services which have undergone modification in the form of route diversion and shortening," Prasetia said in his statement, Friday, December 18.

Prasetia explained that Corridor 1 with the Blok M to Kota route experienced route diversion in both directions.

For buses from Blok M Direction, the route is still normal to the Sarinah Bus Stop - Sarinah red light goes out of the lane - Bank Indonesia red light turn left - Jl. Kebon Sirih - Hotel Milenium turn left - Jl. Fachrudin - Jati Baru go straight - Jl.Cideng Barat - Tarakan red light turn right - Petojo stop - Harmoni red light turn left - Harmoni - Kota.

Meanwhile, the bus route from the direction of the City to Harmoni - Harmoni red light, turn left - turn back after the Juanda bus stop - Petojo stop goes out of the way - Tarakan red light turns left - Jl. East Cideng - Jl. Jati Baru - Hotel Tugu Asri - Red light for Millennium Hotel straight - Jl.Kebon Sirih - Bank Indonesia red light, turn right - Sarinah Stop - Blok M.

"The stops that do not serve are the Bank Indonesia (BI) and Monas bus stops," said Prasetia.

Furthermore, corridor 2 with the Harmoni-Pulogadung route has experienced a route diversion in the direction of Harmoni. Meanwhile, the reverse direction operates normally.

"The stops that do not serve the direction of Harmony are Monas, City Hall, Gambir 2 and Kwitang Buses," he said.

Corridor 3, with the Kalideres - Pasar Baru route, has a shortened route to Kalideres - Harmoni. Then, Route 6A (Ragunan - Monas - via Kuningan) and Route 6B (Ragunan - Monas via Semanggi) have a shortened route to Ragunan - Tosari.

"The stops that do not serve on this route are the HI Roundabout, Sarinah, Monas and Bank Indonesia bus stops," said Prasetia.

Then, Route 1A (PIK - City Hall) experienced a route shortening to PIK - City. The stops that do not serve are Glodok, Olimo, Mangga Besar, Sawah Besar, Harmoni, Monas, and the City Hall Bus Stop.

"Apart from this route, all of our services are still running normally and operating situationally. Services will return to normal when conditions are conducive and can be crossed by bus fleets," he added.
