Demian Yumame's body, an employee of the Papua Regional Development Bank (BPD), a victim of the shooting of an armed group in Sinak was evacuated to Timika. The commander of Korem 173/PVB, Brigadier General Sri Widodo, explained that the victim's body was evacuated using a Smart Air plane with registration number PK-SNJ. Arriving in Timika, he said, the body was immediately taken to Sorong, West Papua Province, to be buried in his hometown. The shooting of Yumame in Sinak occurred at around 09.30 WIT when the victim was around the market. "The victim was reportedly shot from close range and hit his head," Widodo told Antara, Tuesday, December 13. Currently, the security forces are synergizing to chase the perpetrator who allegedly shot with a gun. "The shooting was allegedly carried out from close range using a gun but to make sure it was still waiting for further reports," said Widodo.
