Mukomuko Regency Government Allocates IDR 258 Million For 250 Family Cash Assistance With Stunting Children In 2023

MUKOMUKO - Mukomuko Regency Government, Bengkulu Province has prepared direct cash assistance for families who have stunted children in 2023. Head of the Social Empowerment and Poor Division of the Mukomuko Regency Social Service, Ummul Husnun, said the district government allocated Rp258 million to provide direct cash assistance to families who have stunting children in 2023. The government will distribute direct cash assistance to about 250 families who have stunted children, chronic malnutrition that causes children's growth to be disrupted so that their bodies become tengkes. According to him, the distribution of direct cash assistance for families with stunting children will be carried out based on data on the poor in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) and data on stunting cases from the Health Office. "If he is included in the DTKS, the priority is, or if he is not in the DTKS, maybe the data on children affected by stunting from the Health Office," he said in Mukomuko, Antara, Monday, December 12. He added that the number of Mukomuko residents registered in DTKS was around 109 thousand and not all of them received social assistance from the central government, both non-cash food assistance, direct cash assistance from the transfer of fuel oil subsidies, as well as assistance from the Family Hope Program.
