JAKARTA - Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said he never gave guarantees to anyone that he would help someone free from punishment.
"I have never given a guarantee to anyone who says he will be released from punishment, unless it is decided by a free and fair judge," he said at an event at his official residence.
PM Anwar said Malaysian law enforcement agencies would have complete freedom to carry out their duties.
