MA-Mujiaman Advances To MK To Sues Surabaya Pilkada Results, PDIP: We Have Evidence Of Fraud MAJU

SURABAYA - Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan Surabaya Adi Sutarwijono responded coldly to the proposed suit of candidate pair number 2 Machfud Arifin-Mujiaman (MAJU) to the Constitutional Court (MK) regarding the results of the Surabaya Pilkada. Adi assessed that filing a lawsuit is the candidate's right, but it must be measured and right on target.

"It is the right of each party to take legal action related to the results of the Surabaya Pilkada recapitulation. But from the entire Pilkada process to the election day, the people know who distributed the groceries, the sarong and the money," Adi said. Thursday, December 17th.

PDIP confirmed that Adi had collected evidence of fraud committed by the MA-Mujiaman team and had been reported to Bawaslu.

"We found evidence of structured, massive and systematic fraud which was carried out in many places in Surabaya. We have reported these findings to Bawaslu. Including the involvement of regional heads in East Java in the Pilkada campaign in Surabaya, which we get it from social media, "he explained.

Adi hopes that the Constitutional Court will wisely decide the lawsuit that will be filed considering the far adrift votes between the Eri-Armudji and MA-Mujiaman pairs in the Surabaya elections which have passed the KPU plenary.

"We will ask for justice from the Panel of Justices at the Constitutional Court. We are sure that the Panel of Justices of the Court will decide according to justice," he said.

"Because the results of the Surabaya Pilkada have a very large difference in votes, more than 145 thousand, in which candidate pair Eri Cahyadi-Armudji outperformed Machfud Arifin-Mujiman.
