One Ministry Of Law And Human Rights Employee Distorted Glass BREAKs While Trying To Put Out The Fire

JAKARTA - The Public Relations Coordinator of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) Tubagus Erif Faturahman said that in the fire incident at the Kemenkumham Building, South Jakarta, one employee was injured. However, he did not explain how the injured workers were.

"There were no casualties. Some were injured, our employees broke the glass for the first time to extinguish the fire," Tubagus told reporters in front of the Kemenkumham Building, Thursday, December 8.

Tubagus also explained that when a fire broke out, all employees who worked in the room were asked to come out to prevent something unwanted from happening.

"Everything was told to come out and maybe in one day, they will be sent home first, who works at the Sentra Mulia Building," he said.

Apart from workers, 20 Foreign Citizens (WNA) Immigration detainees were also evacuated. They were transferred to the Immigration Detention Center, Kalideres, West Jakarta.

"It has been evacuated to the Immigration Detention Center in the Deres River," he said.

To note, the fire that occurred in the 5th floor building of the Mulia Center of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Setiabudi, South Jakarta has been extinguished. A total of 26 for firefighters were deployed.
