JAKARTA - The Governor of Central Kalimantan, Sugianto Sabran, hopes that Christmas in 2022 will provide new enthusiasm and hope to build a better tomorrow. Especially for all Christians.

"We hope that this year's Christmas celebration will bring peace, happiness and prosperity to all Christians in Central Kalimantan," said Sugianto Sabran in Palangka Raya, Monday, December 5, as reported by Antara.

Sugianto hopes that the joy of Christmas will remind and renew the enthusiasm of all parties, especially government officials as public servants to work and work even better in the future.

He also hopes that Christians can reflect on God's love in their daily lives by becoming the light of a world that always brings peace.

"In addition, it is also able to build a spirit of togetherness and tolerance, which has been well established so far," he explained.

The provincial government has carried out Christmas celebrations with the theme 'Then Go Home They Go to Their Country Through Other Roads' with the theme sub with the theme "Christmas 2022 with Blessings (Government, Elok, Religion, Trustees and Harmony) for Central Kalimantan ASN in the Betang Public Relations Framework".

Head of the Central Kalimantan Energy and Mineral Resources Agency (ESDM) Vent Christway as Chair of the Provincial Government's Christmas Celebration Committee said the purpose of the celebration had been carried out as part of mental and spiritual development for the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government ASN.

In addition, it is also an implementation of the vision of the governor and deputy governor, namely Central Kalimantan, to be more likely and to be part of the implementation of the core value or 'core values' of the ASN AKHLAK.

"Through this Christmas celebration, we hope that it will also be a gathering place between ASN, government agencies and institutions, community leaders and community organizations in Central Kalimantan," he said.
