MEDAN - The pair Bobby Nasution-Aulia Rachman won the Medan Pilkada according to the vote recapitulation decision by the KPU. His rival in the Medan Regional Election, Akhyar Nasution-Salman Alfarisi did not accept the KPU plenary and reported to Bawaslu about the alleged mark-up of votes.

"It is processed first, we still see whether the report requirements are fulfilled or not," said the Bawaslu Medan commissioner, M Taufiqurrahman Munthe, to reporters, Wednesday, December 16.

The Akhyar-Salman Legal Team, M Hatta, said that the report was submitted to the Medan Bawaslu on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 or during the Medan Pilkada vote recapitulation process.

"The report to Bawaslu is already there. Inflation of additional voter data," he said.

According to him, there were 3 sub-districts that were suspected of having had vote mark-up. Akhyar's team called Medan Belawan sub-district to be the largest.

However, Hatta did not explain in detail how many allegations of vote mark-up they found. Hatta said that he would hand it over to Bawaslu to reveal the alleged deflection with the evidence they had provided.

Meanwhile, the results of the vote count recapitulation determined by the KPU Medan, namely Bobby-Aulia, received 393,327 votes or 53.45 percent of the valid votes. Meanwhile, his opponent, Akhyar Nasution-Salman Alfarisi, only received 342,580 votes or 46.55 percent.

The total valid votes in this regional election reached 735,907 votes, while the invalid votes were 12,915 votes. That way, a total of 748,882 people exercised their voting rights.
