Akhyar-Salman Team Refuses To Sign KPU Plenary Recapitulation, Calling Medan Pilkada Irregularities

MEDAN - Akhyar Nasution-Salman Alfarisi's winning team, Gelmok Samosir, said that there were many irregularities in the Medan City Pilkada. Because of that, Akhyar's team did not sign the KPU plenary recapitulation regarding the results of the Medan Regional Election.

"Regarding the results of the recapitulation, until now we feel that there are various irregularities that have occurred. That is why we have come to the conclusion that we will not sign the minutes as a form of our appreciation for the votes of the voters," said Gelmok at the Ballroom Hotel Santika Dyandra, Tuesday, December 15. .

According to him, starting from the beginning of the Medan City Pilkada process, many cheats were found. Not when the election was taking place but the previous conjectures which he thought were not in accordance with the norm.

"We are ready to win and lose as well. But we also feel that there is something that is not beyond our control beyond propriety," he continued.

Gelmok revealed that there were irregularities such as the polling station (TPS) in the Medan Belawan area. It was found that voters did not actually have ID cards in Belawan, so that means they were taken from the additional election list.

"So the list of additional voters in the Medan City Pilkada is up to 30 thousand. We feel that it might be like that. That's why we asked the Medan KPU to reopen the ballot box but didn't want to," he said.

Especially with the reason that the Medan KPU said the ballot box was not at the location. Therefore, the attitude of the AMAN team was getting stronger because it was not clear about the irregularities so they did not sign the minutes.

Gelmok explained that the case that occurred in East Medan was related to the accumulation of C6 letters in one of the residents' houses. His party found 400 pieces of evidence which have now been given to the Medan City Bawaslu.

"There are a lot of things that we think are systematic, as if we know where supporters 1 and the community are not present because the C6 letter to vote was not delivered," he said.
