Sandiaga Praises The Uniqueness Of Local Guitar Designs That Are Involved In The Mancanegara Market

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno appreciated the economic micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that have promoted the guitar made in Indonesia to foreign countries.

According to Sandiaga Uno, UMKM Luna Guitarworks received a positive response not only on a national scale, but also internationally. This is proof that Indonesian native products have quality that can compete abroad.

Sandiaga Uno also hopes that what MSMEs have done can inspire other creative economy actors to continue working to advance creative economy in Indonesia.

"I give my deepest appreciation to Luna Guitarworks for promoting native Indonesian guitar boutiques internationally through the uniqueness of the guitar design made," said Sandiaga Uno in an official broadcast, Wednesday, November 30.

Sandiaga Uno added that his ministry will continue to support and promote various Indonesian creative products.

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will also continue to encourage creative economy players to advance to class by utilizing technology, and encouraging promotions by facilitating creative economy products to participate in international events.

"In addition, creative economy actors usually experience obstacles in licensing, as well as capital. We will also facilitate this," said Sandiaga Uno.

A little information about Luna Guitarworks, this local guitar product was founded by Tatag Bintara Yudha since 2016. This business started with its unrest because at that time there were not many who made Indonesian original guitars.

The guitar produced by Luna Guitarworks is made by custom based on orders received and handmade. Therefore, the construction process takes two months to one year.

Luna Guitarworks consumers are also diverse, ranging from musicians such as life imprisonment, BIP guitarists, bass bass players Franky Sadikin, to several officials in the country, such as the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, and the Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Bambang Soesatyo.

Meanwhile, other buyers came from various countries such as the United States, London, Canada, Turkey, to Japan. Overseas musicians include Jon Bodan and guitarist Beyonce.

Director of Culinary, Craft, Design, and Fashion at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Yuke Sri Rahayu, said that his party would support and be ready to collaborate with Luna Guitarworks.

"Hopefully in the future we can collaborate," said Yuke.

Meanwhile, the founder of Luna Guitarworks Tatag Bintara Yudha appreciated the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in promoting creative economy products in the country.

"I want to voice that the products of the nation's children are the best and there is already a market abroad. Indonesia does not lack resources, we have bargaining as a product of the nation's children," said Tatag.
