JAKARTA - The warning of cold weather will soon be issued by Seoul and almost all other parts of the city in South Korea on Wednesday, November 30 tomorrow.

"Cold weather is expected to grip the country after an unusually warm November," the weather agency said as quoted by Yonhap News, Tuesday, November 29.

The Korean Meteorological Administration (KMA) said the cold wave warning would take effect in Seoul and many other major cities and territories. But that doesn't include the southern coastal island of Jeju.

The recommendation is issued when the temperature is low in the morning down 10 degrees or more for a day to below 3 degrees.

The lowest temperature in the morning is expected to drop to minus 7 degrees in Seoul on Wednesday, compared to 10 C on Tuesday, according to KMA.

Some of the southern part of the country and the southern coastal island of Jeju will witness rain or snow, KMA said.
