JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno hopes that music, films and various types of Indonesia's creative economy can compete with South Korea, which has already been known to the world.

"Hopefully our economy will expand. Also, our types of music and creative economy can catch up with Korea so that it can be known to the world," Sandiaga said at an event attended by Korean actor Song Joong Ki.

Sandiaga Uno told Song Joong Ki that Indonesia also has a type of music that is equally popular with, namely Dakop alias Dangdut Koplo.

It is known that Song Joong Ki came to Indonesia as the brand ambassador of a technology company and Sandiaga thanked the actor for helping introduce various products and services so that MSMEs were increasingly recognized.
