JAKARTA - The President Director of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), Hendi Prio Santoso, on November 30, 2020, was awarded the Best CEO of a Public Company Non-Financial Sector BUMN with Asset Above 15 T.

The award was obtained from the Bisnis Indonesia Top BUMN Award 2020 event, in addition to the President Director, SIG was also named as the winner of the Most Resilient BUMN Public Company Non-Financial Sector with Asset Above 15 T.

The two awards were given as an appreciation for the performance of SIG along with the leadership of Hendi Prio Santoso which has proven to be able to make the company survive in the midst of existing industrial competition, including significant economic pressures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

SIG again received the award for the best issuer in the cement industry sector from Bisnis Indonesia which was submitted virtually at the Bisnis Indonesia Award (BIA) 2020 event. The award was given as a form of appreciation to corporations whose shares are traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

SIG is considered as an issuer that is able to survive and achieve excellent growth in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic which has a negative impact on the economy.
