Already Paid IDR 10 Billion, Joko Tjandra Called Tommy Sumardi Did Not Tell The Development Of The Red Notice

JAKARTA - Joko Tjandra said that Tommy Sumardi never once provided any information regarding the progress of the revocation of red notice.

This was disclosed by Joko Tjandra when he was a witness for the accused, Brigadier General Prasetijo, in the trial of the case of alleged bribery for the removal of red notice.

"In the work process, Tommy never told me," said Joko Tjandra during a trial at the Corruption Court, Central Jakarta, Monday, December 14.

Joko said that the information regarding the revocation of red notice was actually obtained from the Interpol Indonesia's National Central Bureau (NCB) on May 11. The information comes from a letter sent to reply to a letter from his wife.

"There was a (letter) May 11. I knew it had been specially shifted since 2014," he said.

Even though he already knows about the revocation of the red notice, Joko said that his business with Tommy Sumardi is regarding the elimination of fugitives at Immigration. Because if he is still listed as a fugitive he cannot enter Indonesia.

"As I said, DPO (at immigration), exactly," he said.

Previously, Joko Tjandra revealed that if Tommy Sumardi put up an initial figure of Rp25 billion, it cleared the name of the DPO status.

However, the two of them had time to negotiate over the price. Until finally it was agreed that the nominal value to remove names from the DPO list was Rp. 10 billion.

"Then in the end he fell from Rp. 25 billion to Rp. 15 billion. I don't know what we talked about, we agreed to Rp. 10 billion," he said.
