JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) commemorates the day of national teachers which falls every November 25. He hopes that education can become the capital of children in dealing with a competitive future.
The hope to coincide with the day of the national teacher was conveyed by Jokowi on his Instagram account, @jokowi, Friday, November 25.
"In the future, challenges will be even tougher. With only good education, our children will be ready to enter the future with fierce competition," wrote Jokowi.
Jokowi said that the future of children cannot be separated from the services of a teacher. Thanks to the teacher, the potential for children to develop through the education he provides.
"The teachers are our focus on preparing and forging the nation's children to face challenges and realize our hopes," said Jokowi.
