Gus Amik, Chairman Of The Arifin-Mujiaman Machfud Winning Team In The Surabaya Pilkada Dies Age

SURABAYA - The news of grief covered the winning team of Machfud Arifin-Mujiaman. The chairman of the Arifin-Mujiaman Machfud winning team, Miratul Mukminin or Gus Amik died.

Imam does not know for sure the cause of Gus Amik's death. He only said that Gus Amik was admitted to the ICU Hospital a few days before the election day for the Surabaya Pilkada on December 9, 2020.

"We do not know the cause, because at that time his concentration was on December 9th. We did not ask questions about that, and he was admitted to the hospital a few days before the voting," said Imam.

Gus Amik's body was immediately taken to Magetan to be buried in the complex of Pondok Pesantren Sabilil Muttaqien (PSM) Takeran, Magetan.

"He was buried in the magetan at PSM Takeran Magetan. Tonight, the MA held a tahlilan at his house on Jalan WR Supratman," said Imam.

Gus Amik is a leader of the Takeran Sabilil Muttaqien Islamic Boarding School (PSM), Magetan. Gus Amik has also been active in politics since becoming a member of the East Java Provincial DPRD for two terms. Then as Deputy Regent of Magetan.
