Jokowi Will Visit, Sail Tidore Festival 2022 Continues To Improve

MALUKU - Supporting facilities and infrastructure continue to be improved to welcome the 2022 Sail Tidore Festival in the City of Tidore Islands, North Maluku Province at the end of November 2022. Specifically, the location that will be attended by President Joko Widodo.

The Secretary of the City of Tidore Islands, Ismail Dukomalamo said, all preparations had been prepared to welcome President Jokowi on D-2 leading to the peak event.

"The infrastructure seen is mainly accommodation for ministers, VIP airport lounges, ports, promotional items at airports and ports, VIP and Non-VIP transportation readiness, waiting rooms at Ternate and Tidore Ports, as well as a welcome reception at airports and ports," he said when contacted, as quoted from Antara.

He said, for the location of the Sail Tidore peak event, the preparations seen included the readiness of the president's tent, both the transit tent and the main tent, the location for the exhibition booth, the tents, the location for planting mangroves and the completeness of signing the inscription.

Meanwhile, the Central Committee Team from the Directorate General of Bina Bangda also met and talked with Event Organizer (EO) Sail Tidore Matias Mboi at the location.

After checking the location of the Sail Tidore event on Tugulufa Beach, the group from the Directorate General of Development and Development took the time to see the colossal dancers rehearsing at the Tomagoba Village Open Space.

Towards the peak event of Sail Tidore, the central committee team from the Directorate General of Development and Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs, directly observed all the preparations which included infrastructure and supporting infrastructure for Sail Tidore 2022 at the Tugulufa Beach location.

Accompanied by the Secretary of the City of Tidore Islands, Ismail Dukomalamo, and Assistant Regional Secretary for Economic Affairs and Development Taher Husain, the central committee team from the Directorate General of Regional Development at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Rio Chantyono Arwanda, and his entourage, were asked to see all the preparations for Sail Tidore at Tugulufa Beach.

In this monitoring, there are several supporting infrastructure items for Sail Tidore, which will see the extent of their progress, not only in the City of Tidore Islands, but also in the City of Ternate. All preparations will be finalized on November 22, 2022.
