Pertamina Dalami The Cause Of The Fuel Tank Truck Fire In Cengkareng

Pertamina opened its voice regarding the tank car fire incident carrying Pertalite type fuel on the Jakarta Outer Ring Road, Cengkareng, on Friday, November 18, evening.

Until now, Pertamina said that his party and the police were still investigating the cause of the fire.

"The fire was successfully extinguished with the help of the West Jakarta Damkar. The cause of the incident will be further investigated, in collaboration with the authorities," said Area Manager Comm, Rel & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga, West Java Regional, Eko Kristiawan, in a written statement, Saturday, November 19.

Eko ensured that there were no activities that disrupted Pertamina in terms of fuel stock and supply for the DKI Jakarta area, due to the fire that occurred.

"The needs of community fuel can still be met from the nearest Pertamina gas stations," he added.

Previously, there was a tank car fire carrying Pertalite products on the Jakarta Outer Ring Road, Duri Kosambi, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, on Friday, November 18, evening.

The incident occurred at around 21.56 WIB.

The tank truck fire was quite horrendous. This is because a video showing the incident on social media shows a sizeable fire in the incident.

Congestion also occurred due to the impact of the Pertamina tank fire.
