Daughter Rizieq's Marriage Health Protocol Violation Is Asked To Submit, If Not Arrested By The Police

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya asked five people in a case of violating the marriage health protocol of Rizieq Shihab's daughter to turn themselves in.

Head of the Public Relations Division of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said the five people had two options: surrender like Rizieq or be arrested.

"We have given the five suspects two options, first to submit to the MRS, or the second option we will arrest," said Yusri when confirmed by reporters, Saturday, December 12.

The five people referred to are Haris Ubaidillah as committee chairman, Ali bin Alwi Alatas (committee secretary), Maman Suryadi (FPI commander and security officer), Sobri Lubis (person in charge of the event), and Idrus (head of the event section).

Meanwhile, the suspect of incitement, who is still related to this case, Rizieq Shihab, has come to Polda Metro Jaya after being absent from summons twice.

Yusri said Rizieq went to the Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters for fear of being arrested and preferred to surrender because the police did not send a summons for him today.

"So Rizieq was afraid of being arrested, so he gave up and came to Polda Metro Jaya," he said.

"He was afraid. For fear he would surrender, not a summons. Polda Metro Jaya did not call, we will arrest him. Because he was afraid, he was arrested he gave up," he added.

It is known that Rizieq arrived around 10:20 WIB at the General Criminal Directorate Building of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police using a silver Mitsubishi Pajero. He appeared to be accompanied by a number of people, including the General Secretary of FPI Munarman.

Previously, Polda Metro Jaya had named Habib Rizieq a suspect in alleged violation of the health protocol. In addition, there were five other people who were also named suspects in the alleged violation of protocol at Habib Rizieq's celebration.

Rizieq was charged with Articles 160 and 216 of the Criminal Code. Article 160 of the Criminal Code concerning Incitement to Violence and Not Complying with the provisions of the law, with the threat of six years imprisonment or a fine of IDR 4,500.

Meanwhile, Article 216 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code concerning Obstacles to Legal Provisions. The threat is imprisonment for four months and two weeks or a fine of Rp. 9,000.

Meanwhile, for the other five people, the police applied Article 93 of Law Number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine.
