TANGERANG - Tangerang District Court (PN) judges sentenced the defendant in the online trading mode fraud case Binary Option (Binomo) and the money laundering case (TPPU) Indra Kenz, 10 years in prison and a fine of IDR 5 billion.

Court Judge Rahman Rajagukguk said the defendant was charged with Article 45A paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph (1) of Law number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions.

"Declaring that it has been legally and convincingly proven to have committed false acts and money laundering, thus imposing a sentence on Indra Kenz for 10 years and a fine of five billion," said Assembly Judge Rahman Rajagukguk at the Tangerang District Court, Monday, November 14.

The judge also explained that if Indra Kenz could not pay a fine of IDR 5 billion, he would be replaced with a fine of 10 months in prison.

"If the fine is not paid, the defendant must add 10 months in prison," he concluded.
