Investigating Alleged Corruption Of Satellite Image, KPK Examines BIG Officials

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned four witnesses to be examined by investigators regarding the alleged corruption case of high-resolution satellite imagery (CSRT), which was procured in 2015 by the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) and the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (LAPAN).

"Today, December 11, the examination of four witnesses for corruption cases. Procurement of high resolution satellite imagery (CSRT) at the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) in collaboration with LAPAN in 2015," said Acting KPK spokesman for prosecution Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday , 11 December.

The four people who were summoned by the KPK were BIG parties, namely KPA BIG Nurwadjedi and 2015 IGD BIG Policy Making Officer (PPK) Fajar Triady; sales of Honda Mandiri Bogor Isna Trisanti; and the Head of the Toyota Cibinong Branch.

This examination, said Ali, was at the KPK's Red and White House Office, Jalan Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

Meanwhile, last Thursday, December 10, the KPK also conducted an examination of the 2014-2019 BIG Deputy for Basic Geospatial Information Dodi Sukmayadi and 2014-2019 BIG Secretary Titiek Suparwafi.

However, the anti-graft commission has not yet informed what information has been extracted from the two suspects.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating suspected corruption cases related to the procurement of High Resolution Satellite Imagery (CSRT).

However, they are still closed about the investigation being carried out as well as the suspect.
