Regarding The 2024 Presidential Election Of Jatah Prabowo, Jokowi Is Considered Not To Want The 2024 Presidential Election Only To Be Followed By 2 Paslons

Political observer of the Indonesian Madani Circle (Lima) Ray Rangkuti assessed that President Joko Widodo's statement regarding the 'tax of the 2024 presidential election' for the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, was based on the desire to help each other.

According to him, this comment can boost Prabowo's electability in the community, which has recently stagnated according to a number of survey results related to the 2024 presidential election.

"The current trend of Prabowo's voice, of course, will be able to shine again after at least two times Jokowi mentioned his name as a presidential candidate," Ray said in his statement, Friday, November 11.

Jokowi views that, said Ray, boosting Prabowo's election could be another consideration. One of them is related to the achievement of at least three pairs of presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election contestation.

"Why should it be boosted again? Because Jokowi also has an interest in keeping Prabowo participating in the 2024 presidential election contestation, so that there are no two pairs of presidential candidates," he said.

Therefore Ray emphasized that the statement 'tax of the 2024 presidential election' for Prabowo did not mean that Jokowi had made his political choices. Jokowi only encouraged Prabowo to be ready to walk in the presidential election.

"This statement does not mean that Jokowi has made a political choice for Prabowo, it is still a long time ago. The further it can be stated that Jokowi has encouraged Prabowo to participate in the 2024 presidential candidate, but that does not mean he is on his side," he said.
