Jokowi Is Scheduled To Visit The Photo Exhibition After Attending The Opening Of The Cambodia ASEAN Summit

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will attend the opening ceremony of the 40th and 41th ASEAN Summits at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel, Cambodia today, Friday, November 11, 2022.

The president will also see a photo show and book launch titled "Cambodia's Contribution to ASEAN".

After that, President Jokowi is scheduled to take part in the plenary session of the 40th ASEAN Summit which was followed by the 41st ASEAN Summit retreat session.

"On November 11, ASEAN leaders will hold various meetings, especially the ASEAN Summit which will be held both in plenary meetings and in the form of retreats," said Foreign Minister (Menlu) Retno Marsudi in a statement at Phnom Penh, Thursday, November 10 evening.

From noon to evening, continued Retno, President Jokowi will attend a number of other summits with ASEAN's speech partners.

A number of these meetings were the 25th ASEAN-China Summit, 23rd Korean ASEAN-Republic Summit, and the ASEAN-PBB Summit.

"ASEAN leaders will also start meeting with speech partners, including with China, the Republic of Korea, and with the Secretary General of the United Nations," he added.

After all the series of events at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel are over, President Jokowi will return to the hotel where he spent the night to continue his work agenda tomorrow.
