Egally Acting Debt Collector, Motorcycle Rampas Until The Victims Were Dragged 50 Meters, Finally Arrested

Cimahi - Cimahi Police arrested the perpetrators of motorcycle robbery using a debt collector mode with the initials DA which was carried out on Jalan Cibaligo, Central Cigugur, Central Cimahi, West Java, Monday, October 17, at 18.30 WIB.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cimahi Police, AKP Rizka Fadhila, said that there is still one perpetrator who is still being chased, with the status of the People's Wanted List (DPO).

"The perpetrators who were detained by DA. We are still pursuing other perpetrators," said Rizka Fadhila, Thursday, November 10.

Rizka explained that the perpetrator had targeted his victim from the start. After approaching the target, the perpetrator grabbed and accused the victim of not paying the installments of the motorbike he was driving.

The perpetrator had forced the victim to hand over his motorbike. But the victim did not want to give it, because he felt there was no arrears in installments.

The attracting between the perpetrator and the victim occurred. (Even) the victim was dragged 50 meters, because he tried to defend his motorbike. However, the perpetrator managed to escape with the victim's motorbike, "he said.

After being reported and the police conducting an investigation, one perpetrator was arrested and taken to the Cimahi Police Station.

In front of the officers, the perpetrator admitted that he had carried out similar actions five times with a random target.

"I've taken motorbikes at different crime scenes five times," he said.

The perpetrator was charged with Article 365 concerning theft with violence, which carries a threat of 7 years in prison.
