Bringing A Big Sickle, 6 Out Of 10 Brawlers Are Still Underage

TANGERANG - Joint officers from the Balaraja Police Criminal Investigation Unit and the Tangerang Police Criminal Investigation Unit have arrested 10 people in connection with the beatings. Tangerang Police Chief Kombes Pol Raden Romdhon Natakusuma said that of the 10 people arrested, 6 of them were minors.

"From the arrests, 4 sharp weapons of the type of sickle were also secured," said Romdhon, Monday, November 7.

Romdhon explained that the incident took place at Serang Street, Cengkok Village, Sentul Village, Balaraja District, Tangerang Regency on Tuesday, November 1. As a result of the incident, 3 victims who were still students suffered serious injuries.

After receiving a report from the victim's parents, the police immediately moved to secure the suspects. Until finally the 10 perpetrators were arrested.

"On Friday (November 4) we conducted an investigation into the incident, and from the results of the investigation it was possible to identify the perpetrators who were arrested in the Balaraja area," he said.

To the officers, 6 child perpetrators admitted that they received an invitation from a man who is usually called Conge to attack a group of schoolchildren from a private school in Cisoka. "The perpetrators gathered and then did the division of tasks until the incident finally occurred," explained Romdhon.

Romdhon confirmed that strict action would be taken against the perpetrators. Romdhon also appealed to teenagers, especially students, to stay away from brawling behavior and asked parents to supervise their children.
