YOGYAKARTA - President Joko Widodo will award the title of national hero to five figures. This was conveyed directly by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD as Chairman of the Council for the title, Certificate of Services, and Honorary Signs.

The figures who will be given the title of national heroes are figures who contribute to Indonesia's struggle for independence. These figures come from various regions in Indonesia.
