Not Receiving His Partners Dianiaya, Dozens Of Motorcycle Taxi Drivers At The Multivision Building In Kuningan, South Jakarta

JAKARTA - The commotion occurred between an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) and a security guard at the Multivision Building, Kuningan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, Wednesday, November 2, at 10.45 WIB. As a result of the commotion, the motorcycle taxi driver suffered a head injury from being hit with a blunt object.

Knowing that a colleague of his profession was persecuted, dozens of ojol drivers stormed the Multivision Building. They tried to express their frustration because the perpetrator was arrogant.

Setiabudi Police Chief, Kompol Agung Permana confirmed the incident. He said the incident occurred because there was a difference of understanding between the ojol driver and the security of the building.

"So after we went to the TKP there was a difference of understanding between one security guard and one ojol. Then as a result of the dispute there was a commotion," said Agung, Wednesday, November 2.

To reduce the commotion, the police secured the security and representatives of the ojol. Meanwhile, the victim who suffered head injuries was treated medically.

"We took both parties to the Sector Police for further safekeeping and examination, then our ojol friend has been taken to the hospital," he said.

Agung asked colleagues of ojol drivers to entrust this case to the police. He hopes online motorcycle taxis can respect the legal process.

"It has been handled or has been processed by the Setiabudi Metro Police. So we have handled the legal process to the Setiabudi Metro Police according to the procedure," he concluded.
