Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin said the music concert committee held the Bung Karno Gelora (GBK) was unprofessional because it violated the rules. Until now, the Central Jakarta Police have examined five committee members.

"We have questioned five people today, especially those involved in committees such as ticket sections and so on," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin quoting Antara, Monday, October 31.

Komarudin said that his party re-examined the licensing documents from the event organizers when applying for crowd permits to the Central Jakarta Metro Police.

"We will re-examine the licensing documents from the event organizers," he said.

He added that the inspection included the number of tickets printed, the victim fainted as a result of the incident and the total loss of the audience due to not being able to enter the stage of the event.

"Later we will adjust how many tickets have been printed in accordance with the application for permits submitted to us," said Komarudin.

The police also recorded the number of victims (pingsan) from the audience.

"We just got some names that were referred to the hospital yesterday and we are still investigating this," he said.

According to him, if there is a criminal element, this case will be raised to an investigation.

"It depends on the results of the examination later, yes. Yesterday it was still an interrogation report, meaning it was still under investigation," he said.

Polda Metro Jaya has canceled the music concert "Swimming" at Istora Senayan Jakarta on Sunday, October 30 for the safety of the audience.

"Polda stated that we stopped the activity, taking into account the safety of the audience's soul. We don't want any casualties to fall," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Endra Zulpan.

The concert was originally planned to last for three days, namely 28-30 October 2022, but the boom of visitors on the second day made the police decide to cancel the concert on the third day.

Zulpan said police officers found allegations of ticket sales practices that exceeded the capacity of the building where the concert took place.
