JAKARTA - Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Raja Juli Antoni said every political party (parpol), both representative in parliament and not, has the same right in carrying out presidential and vice presidential candidates.

Raja Antoni said about non-parlementary political parties, if their strengths were united, would be large. The number of votes is around 9.79 percent, or greater than NasDem (9.05 percent), and PKB (9.69 percent).

"Regarding this, the combined votes of non-parliamentary political parties of 9.79 percent will be very significant to carry the presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election," said Raja, as quoted by Antara.

Raja said that when non-parlementary political party officials held a meeting in the Gatot Subroto area, Jakarta. According to Raja Juli Antoni, the meeting was only a longing.

The meeting was attended by PSI Secretary General Dea Tunggaesti, Secretary General Perindo, Ahmad Rofiq, Secretary General of Garuda Party, Yohanna, Secretary General of Berkarya, Andi Picunang, as well as representatives from the Secretary General of PKPI and the Hanura Party.

Ahmad Rofiq confirmed that non-parlementary parties must reappear to the public with solidity. "The issue of choices may be different, but political movements must appear to the public," said Ahmad Rofiq.
