The Ministry of Manpower in collaboration with the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) has allocated hundreds of millions of rupiah for the development ofsteric fungi cultivation in Kuta Village, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. "The Kuta Tourism Village is the location of the regional-based work expansion program," said Head of the Manpower and Placement Division of the Central Lombok Manpower and Transmigration Office, Syamsul Rijal in Praya, quoted from Antara, Thursday, October 27. With the election of Kuta Village, various programs will be provided by the central government. Over the next three years, Kuta Village will receive funding from the ministry directly, because there are already residents who are ready to be fostered. "So in Kuta Village there are 10 independent workers (TKM) who will receive Rp 20 million each for the initial stage," he said. The regional-based work expansion program was carried out after seeing the various potentials that exist in the village, in Kuta Village there are businesses that can be developed, namely fungal cultivation, sablon and others. In addition to providing IDR 20 million for each TKM, the central government also provides labor-intensive programs with a budget value of IDR 100 million. Apart from the Ministry of Manpower, various ministries will also work together to disburse funds and programs in villages that are locations for the expansion of work based on this area. This “Program is an effort to support the Mandalika SEZ, which absorbs quite a lot of workers in the area. So it is indeed an expansion of work based on this area as an effort for the community not to be unemployed,” he said. For NTB Province, Central Lombok is the only area selected from 15 regencies in Indonesia. In the future, with hotels and restaurants in the Mandalika SEZ, various needs can be absorbed from what is cultivated by TKM in the Mandalika SEZ. " “ Program expansion of regional-based job opportunities is indeed a breakthrough from the Ministry to increase job opportunities and explore all potential human resources (HR) and natural resources (SDA) in the area," he said.
