If There Are Instructions From The Prosecutor, The Mataram Police Are Ready To Search For Other Perpetrators In The Corruption House For Earthquake Resilient In Sigerongan Village

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Mataram Police, NTB Kompol Kadek Adi Budi Astawa, stated that his party is ready to investigate the role of other suspects in the 2018 earthquake-resistant housing program (RTG) corruption case. "We are ready to follow up on the search for the role of other suspects, if that is indeed the prosecutor's clue in the demands of the defendant Indrianto," said Kadek Adi in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, October 27. He hopes that the search for the role of the other suspects will receive support from the prosecutor's office as outlined in the charges against the defendant Indrianto. "Because administratively we have not received any instructions from the prosecutor. As for the results of the previous prosecutor's research, Indrianto's file has been declared complete without any development instructions for other suspects," he said. If there are instructions or directions from Indrianto's criminal decision regarding developments to reveal the role of other suspects, Kadek Adi ensures that his party will re-open files and trace evidence that leads to the involvement of others. "Indeed, in Indrianto's investigation file, two people mentioned in the prosecutor's demands also enjoyed it. They gave testimony as witnesses," he said. When handling Indrianto's investigation file, explained Kadek Adi, investigators did not find any evidence that strengthened the role of the two people who also enjoyed state losses. "Therefore, even if there is further investigation, development, according to the prosecutor's direction, we will conduct additional examinations on them," said Kadek Adi. Indrianto in the corruption case of RTG program funds in Sigerongan Village acted as Treasurer of the Repok Jati Kuning Community Group (Pokmas). The Pokmas is tasked with distributing government assistance for the repair and construction of houses affected by the earthquake in 2018. At that time, the Rupok Jati Kuning Pokmas was tasked with distributing aid in the form of materials with budget support of Rp1.79 billion for 70 families affected by the earthquake in Sigerongan Village, West Lombok Regency. The disbursement is carried out in three stages. The first stage is distributed Rp. 500 million, the second stage is Rp. 750 million, and the third stage is Rp. 90 million. However, after the budget entered the pocket of the pokmas, a number of residents who were registered as recipients did not receive assistance. From the results of police investigations, Indrianto enjoyed the money, who acted as treasurer of the pokmas. This also hampered the RTG project in Sigerongan Village. From this problem, the Indrianto case is now rolling on the court table of the Mataram Corruption District Court. On Wednesday (26/10), Indrianto's case was included in the agenda of the prosecution trial. The public prosecutor asked the panel of judges to impose a criminal sentence on Indrianto for 5.5 years in prison and a fine of IDR 250 million, subsidiary to 4 months in prison. The prosecutor conveyed such a claim by declaring the defendant Indrianto's actions guilty of violating Article 2 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law no. 20 of 2001 jo. Article 64 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code jo. Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, according to the contents of the primary indictment. In the prosecution, the prosecutor also charged the defendant Indrianto to pay compensation for state losses worth Rp459 million, a subsidiary of 2.5 years in prison. To the panel of judges, the prosecutor demanded that all evidence in this case be returned to investigators for the needs of case development to the pokmas management who also enjoyed the benefits of the emergence of state losses, namely M. Abadi and Mahdi Rahman. According to the prosecutor, Indrianto together with M. Abadi, and Mahdi Rahman jointly took advantage of his assignment as a pokmas administrator by spending part of the budget which should be the right of residents affected by the earthquake to gamble and buy personal necessities.
