JAKARTA - The government has introduced five spokespersons who will be in charge of informing about the development of the COVID-19 vaccine. These five people are from four agencies that handle the COVID-19 vaccine.

"The government has appointed five spokesperson for the COVID-19 vaccination at the central level from four agencies which are the leading sectors, both in the procurement of the COVID-19 vaccine and the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination," said Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Johnny G Plate at the conference. online press broadcast on the Kemkominfo's YouTube account, Monday, December 7.

The five spokesmen are Wiku Adisasmito and Reisa Brotoasmoro who are the Spokespersons for the COVID-19 Handling Task Force; Siti Nadia who is the representative of the Ministry of Health; Lucia Rizka Andalusia, the representative from BPOM; and Bambang Heriyato who also serves as the Corporate Secretary of PT Bio Farma.

Each of these people, continued Johnny, has a different task and function. Wiku will later be tasked with delivering scientific aspects related to vaccines and conveying messages as a whole from all related aspects in general. Finally, Bambang Heriyato, who is the Corporate Secretary of Biofarma, will explain the logistics and distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine throughout Indonesia. "In addition, Pak Bambang will provide responses to issues related to the type of vaccine product and distribution," he said.
