The DKI Provincial Government Holds Cheap Markets Until October 29, This Is The Distribution Of Location

JAKARTA - The Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives for Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) of DKI Province held low-cost markets at five points throughout the administrative city of Jakarta. The market will be held from 24-29 October 2022.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial PPKUKM Service Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo said this activity was also intended to help ease the burden on the community when the price of basic goods was increased.

"Hopefully, the public can take advantage of this cheap market momentum," said Ratu in her statement, Tuesday, October 25.

In Central Jakarta, this cheap market based on PPKUKM DKI has been underway. The location is located at Tanah Abang Sports Center from Monday to Tuesday, October 25 at 08.30 WIB to 14.00 WIB.

In addition to Tanah Abang Sports Center, low-cost markets will also be held at four other points in Jakarta, namely:

1. GOR Cengkareng Barat, West Jakarta on October 25-262. Cilincing District Office, North Jakarta on October 26-273. RPTRA Bhineka Pesanggrahan District, South Jakarta on October 27-284. Ciracas District Office, East Jakarta on October 28-29

Ratu explained, the forms of cheap market activities include bazaars for basic necessities or cheap necessities, bazars for Jakpreneur products fostered by the PPKUKM 5 region, giving packages for household needs from APRINDO members as many as 2,500 packages to be distributed to pre-sesejahter residents by regulating the exchange mechanism, and entertainment activities.

There is a package voucher exchange mechanism in the cheap market activity. The mechanism for giving packages is carried out by way of residents buying basic necessities first at BULOG stand, PT Food Station, and Perumda Dharma Jaya, as well as products from Indonesian Farmers' Shops.

"Voucher recipients cannot be entrusted with the package," said the Queen.

Furthermore, the Queen requested that low-cost market organizers manage well the sale of basic food packages and distribution of free packages for household needs in an orderly, professional, and on target manner.
