Women Died Locked From Outside The Home In Semarang, Police Duga Victims Of Domestic Violence

The police are investigating the death of a woman with the initials LA, a resident of South Sendangguwo, Tembalang, Semarang City, Central Java, Sunday, who is suspected of being a victim of domestic violence (KDRT).

Tembalang Police Chief Kompol Maulana Ozar said the victim was found dead in a locked house from outside.

"The suspect is temporarily carried out by her husband," said Maulana in Semarang, Central Java, quoted from Antara, Sunday, October 23.

Maulana explained that the victim's husband, with the initials D, had been arrested for further investigation. From the initial examination, he continued, the victim and her husband were involved in an argument at home.

Police suspect D accused his wife of having an affair resulting in acts of violence.

According to Maulana, the LA victim is thought to have died from being strangled in the room. The incident was revealed when D's parents reported the violence to the head of the RT which was forwarded to the local Village Guidance Officer (Babinsa).

The door to the house, which was locked, was only opened after the Tembalang Police arrived at the location to conduct a crime scene (TKP).
