BPJS Kesehatan: Victims Of Traffic Accidents Must Make A Police Report

JAKARTA - The Curup branch of BPJS Kesehatan, which oversees four districts in Bengkulu, explained that victims of single traffic accidents who will receive guarantees must make a police report.

"To get guarantees from people who are victims of traffic accidents, they must make a police report. Police reports are an absolute requirement to obtain traffic guarantees, whether they will receive guarantees from Jasa Raharja or BPJS Kesehatan," said Head of the Curup branch BPJS Health Office Novi Kurniadi in Rejang Lebong, Friday, October 21.

He explained that the community participating in BPJS Kesehatan who were victims of traffic accidents were asked not to hesitate to make a police report which was the main requirement to get services at hospitals and health centers.

"In addition to making a police report, another absolute requirement is as an active BPJS Health participant, and for traffic accidents borne by Jasa Raharja, of course, paying mandatory donations at the STNK," he said, quoted by Antara.

According to him, for traffic accident victims whose medical expenses are borne by BPJS Kesehatan are single accidents, while the accident victims involving other vehicles will be borne by Jasa Raharja.

They have given the socialization of the BPJS Health provisions to journalists who are members of PWI Rejang Lebong recently when holding media gathering with other guarantee management agencies such as BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, PT Jasa Raharja, PT Taspen, Asabri and the Rejang Lebong Police.

He hopes that journalists in Rejang Lebong Regency and other regions can assist them in informing these provisions so that more than 742,000 participants of the Curup branch of BPJS Health spread across Rejang Lebong, Kepahiang, Lebong and North Bengkulu Regencies can find out.
