The Police Escalated The Case Of The Breaking Of The MTsN 19 Wall To Investigation

South Jakarta Metro Police has upgraded the status of the case of the collapse of a wall at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 19, Pondok Labu, from an investigation to an investigation.

"Monday (17/10) yesterday, three additional examinations were carried out, from the principal, there were teachers and one OB (office boy)," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jakarta Police, Selaran Kompol Irwandhy Idrus, when contacted in Jakarta, Friday, October 21, as reported by Antara.

He explained that previously there were two school guards who had been examined.

Furthermore, Irwandhy added that his party would examine three other teachers who taught during the tragedy on October 26.

In addition, the police are still waiting for the results from the forensic laboratory center (Puslabfor) regarding the testing of evidence.

Previously, the National Police's Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor) team carried the rubble of a wall during the crime scene (TKP) at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 19, Pondok Labu, South Jakarta as evidence for laboratory testing.

Head of Laka Bakar, Puslabfor Polri, Kompol Heribertus, said that the crime scene was an early stage to test the construction of the walls.

"So, we also bring some samples to be tested more deeply in our laboratory at the Puslabfor," said Heribertus.

According to him, the results regarding the TKP processing are still in the process of being investigated, so they cannot immediately conclude the cause until the results of the laboratory test are issued.

However, he confirmed that he would immediately conduct laboratory tests so that investigators would not wait long.

The incident of a wall collapsing at MTsN 19 Pondok Labu occurred on Thursday (6/10) due to being hit by floods and killing three students and injuring one student. Three victims died named Dika, Dendis, and Adnan.
