Hendra Kurniawan And Agus Nurpatra Don't Disrupt Exceptions, Lawyers: There Is Not A Single Criminal Langgar Act

The defendants in the obstruction of justice case, Hendra Kurniawan and Agus Nurpatra, did not file an exception or memorandum of objection. The reason is that the indictment prepared by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) is appropriate. "We honestly, and to be honest, admit that the indictment of the public prosecutor has met the formal and material requirements of one indictment," Hendra Kurniawan and Agus Nurpatra's attorneys Henry Yosodiningrat told reporters, Wednesday, October 19. Thus, the attorney for the two defendants in the obstruction of justice case said that they would follow the principles of fast, cheap, and simple justice. That way, the next trial which will be held on Thursday, October 27 will enter the agenda of examining witnesses. "We view that we don't need to deliver exceptions," he said. Apart from that, Henry mentioned the contents of the indictment. According to him, none of them stated that the two clients had committed a crime. The reason is that all of his clients' actions were ordered by Ferdy Sambo. "I said one thing earlier, that if we look at the series of actions described by the public prosecutor, there is absolutely no act that is a criminal act," said Henry.
