JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Papua Province Ridwan Ruikutun today, Tuesday, October 18. He was summoned in connection with the alleged corruption that ensnared Papua Governor Lukas Enembe.

"The investigation was carried out at the Corruption Eradication Commission Office," Acting KPK Spokesperson Ipi Maryati told reporters, Tuesday, October 18.

Ipi stated that Ridwan was summoned as a witness. He is suspected of knowing the fraudulent practice that Lukas allegedly did.

Apart from Ridwan, the KPK also summoned three other witnesses. They are the Expenditure Treasurer of the Papua Regional Secretariat Woro Pujiastuti and the Finance Treasurer Staff of the Papua Regional Secretariat Yance Parubak and Sesno.

As previously reported, Lukas has been named a suspect by the anti-corruption commission. However, the case that ensnared him has not been detailed.

Lukas will actually be questioned on Monday, September 26 at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. However, the examination was failed because Lukas admitted he was sick and could not provide information.
