Ruben Onsu Apresiasi Polres Jaksel Capture Jurisprudence At His Shop

JAKARTA - Ruben Onsu appreciated the South Jakarta Metro Police for uncovering a theft case at his cake shop a few days ago. The perpetrator was arrested in the Ciputat area, South Tangerang some time ago.

"Thank you to the South Jakarta Police. Luckily there is CCTV, so the perpetrators can be arrested quickly and the evidence is also complete," said Ruben Onsu at the South Jakarta Police, Monday, October 17.

Ruben said that he came to the South Jakarta Metro Police (Polrestro) as a witness. Ruben, the victim who is also the shop owner, thanked him for the arrest of the perpetrator.

Moreover, he said he did not know the perpetrators who knew almost all the layouts of the contents of his shop.

"Just today I came to be a witness. But fortunately all the lost items have returned," he said.

On the same occasion, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim) of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Irwandy Idrus, added that his party was helped by Ruben Onsu's surveillance camera (CCTV).

Irwandy said the process of arresting the perpetrators of the theft occurred on Thursday, October 13 in East Ciputat.

"We also analyzed the vehicle from the perpetrator. Including the equipment used by the perpetrator. We are still investigating at this time," said Irwandy.

The thief carried out the action alone but the South Jakarta Metro Police are still conducting further investigations.

Previously, a number of items at the cake shop Ruben Onsu were stolen by the perpetrator, whose identity was not yet known.

The victim then reported the incident to the South Jakarta Metro Police on Tuesday afternoon, October 4.

Based on the report, the police immediately launched an investigation and processing of the crime scene on Thursday, October 6. The police also secured several pieces of evidence, including CCTV that recorded the incident.
