JAKARTA - Heru Budi Hartono officially serves as Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta. He was inaugurated to replace Anies Baswedan today, Monday, October 17. Then how much wealth does the Presidential Chief of Staff (Kasetpres) have? Based on the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) which he reported to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on February 16, 2022, Heru had a wealth of Rp. 38,046,630,247. However, he recorded debt ownership of Rp6,058,945,215 so that his assets were reduced to Rp31,987,685,032. In the report, Heru also recorded ownership of land and building assets with a value of Rp31,987,685,032. The location is in Bekasi Regency, West Java; East Jakarta City; Bogor Regency, West Java; and South Jakarta City. Next, he recorded ownership of three motorcycles consisting of Honda ND 125 kira in 2003; Honda in 2018; and Harley Davidson in 2021. Then, Heru recorded ownership of a 1996 Suzuki Escudo; Toyota HiLux 2015; and Suzuki Jimmny in 2019. Not only that, he also recorded ownership of a bicycle from England, Brompton in 2009 worth IDR 35 million. Thus, Heru's total asset value of transportation equipment reached IDR 1,293,369,000. Heru then recorded ownership of other movable assets worth IDR 617,450,000; securities with a value of IDR 3,692,500; and cash and cash equivalents reached IDR 12,676,771,879. As previously reported, Heru was appointed by the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian at the Ministry of Home Affairs office, Jakarta. After being sworn in, he confirmed that he would immediately work. "I will work, work, work," said Heru after his inauguration as Acting Governor of DKI at the office of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), Central Jakarta, Monday, October 17. Heru admitted that he would work to lead Jakarta based on the direction of the Minister of Home Affairs and the DKI Jakarta Regional Development Plan (RPD) for 2023-2026 which Anies and the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government had compiled. "The Minister of Home Affairs has emphasized several points and we will include them in the program in 2023, including Mr. Anies submitting the RPD, later we will detail it. Meanwhile, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian revealed that his party would evaluate Heru during his three-month lead in Jakarta. After one year, Tito revealed that Heru's position could be extended or replaced by other echelon I officials. "The term of office is 1 year, but we will evaluate it every 3 months. After 1 year it can be continued by the same person or different person, depending on the results of the evaluation," said Tito.
