President Zelensky Has Promised Victory Over Russia On The Day Of The Defenders Of Ukraine

JAKARTA - President Volodymyr Zelensky promised victory over Russia and the country's freedom, during the 'Ukrainian Defenders' holiday on Friday.

In a video address delivered in the hills outside the capital Kyiv, President Zelensky thanked the Ukrainian armed forces for defending their country. He said everything that had been taken from Ukraine would be returned, and no soldiers remained in custody.

"It appears that the current enemy in his crimes brings together all our country's enemies we faced before," President Zelensky said in the forested hills outside the village of Vitachyv, a historic military post site facing the Dnipro River.

"By defeating this enemy, we will avenge all enemies who penetrate Ukraine, in those who live, who will live and who will live on our land. This will be a victory for all of our people. This will be a victory for the Armed Forces. Ukrainian troops," President Zelensky said.

It is known that Ukrainian forces have made progress in recent weeks. However, Russia retaliated by carrying out heavy airstrikes, which hit energy facilities and apartment blocks this week.

"The world sees that Ukraine has not lost their humanity in any circumstances. The enemy can attack our cities, but never in our dignity," President Zelensky said.

The invasion of Russia into Ukraine, launched on February 24, has killed thousands of people, millions of displaced people, destroyed cities and damaged the global economy.
